Dave was fantastic to work with throughout the home inspection process. He did a thorough job and checked all the little details, which gave us a lot of confidence when waiving the inspection conditions on an older home. The inspection report was organized in a way easy to understand and he took the time to explain his findings and made practical recommendations on what needed immediate attention and what could wait. The biggest thing is Dave took time to answer our questions after the report was released, which was especially helpful since I am not from the area and what may be necessary in Yellowknife is not always as important further south. Dave was thorough and checked for items that other inspectors haven't included in their inspections such as major appliances while still charging a comparable price. While physically performing the inspection, he clearly explained any items requiring attention and why. I recieved a full report in less than 24 hours which included a priority rating for all the items requiring attention and whether it was a DIY fix or something that needed a professional and which type. At the bottom of his report, he included multiple contact numbers for various tradesmen that he mentioned in the report. - 5/28/2026 

I recently had 2 house inspections (2 different homes) completed by Dave and I was very pleased with how thorough he was. He answered my questions and explained things clearly. After the second inspection, I followed up with more questions and he responded right away. The written report was also completed very quickly - the next day!
